Barr/Paul 2008?

Given all the recent drama, I don’t think so, but according to a letter posted by the Bob Barr Campaign, the Libertarian presidential candidate has asked Rep. Ron Paul, former Republican presidential candidate, to replace Wayne Allyn Root as his running mate for VP.

And according to the article, Root has said, “I am willing to sacrifice anything to advance the cause of liberty, freedom, smaller government and to enable the American taxpayer to keep more of their own money and property. Understanding Dr. Ron Paul’s reputation and name recognition in the freedom movement, I am willing to step aside as Libertarian vice presidential candidate if he would be willing to take my place.”
