Anti-life Consensus of the DNC
Has the Democratic Party completely sold itself on blind support for Roe v. Wade? Is the “social justice” party the anti-life party? Well, with Obama’s selection of Biden as running mate, it seems so.
Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, Sen. Barack Obama’s choice for his vice presidential running mate, is a Roman Catholic with a long record of supporting pro-abortion causes and legislation.
Biden did repeatedly support enactment of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban, but when the ban came up for a Senate vote in 1999 he voted for an amendment by Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) that said the Supreme Court had acted correctly in its 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that declared abortion a constitutional right.
I’m often taken back by that concept. A Constitutional right? Where in the Constitution is the right to take the life and liberty from another person expressed?
I keep looking for it, but I can’t find it.
The Democratic Party has not only become the party of central planning, intervention in the private economic and moral affairs of individuals, families, and communities, but is also the party of abortion at all costs.
